Zena's Fabric and Craft was opened by Zena Howieson 18 years ago. Zena had become a craft icon in the local community, with her knowledge of so many crafts, especially knitting.

In February 2006 I purchased Zena's Fabric and Craft a 12 year dream that came true. I have been doing many crafts over the past 17 years. I have done cross stitch, which I loved and produced pieces for my family and friends. I then took up folk art, I loved the structure of a pattern, and the freedom to bring it to life with many techniques. After folk art I took to patchwork, which became a true passion, and so started my fabric stash. As my children grew and the photo's mounted up, I saw the art of scrapbooking. I then became a consultant for a scrapbooking company doing party plan and teaching many scrapbooking techniques. So now I love all forms of craft whether it be knitting, beading, scrapbooking, stamping, patchwork, embroidery, painting, drawing and many more.
