Kids Craft Clsses for 2008

Scrapbooking:  Is run every second Saturday afternoon. The first Class is always started on the first Saturday back from holidays.

Time:  1pm  -  3pm

Scrapbooking is a great craft for young kids to get involved in. I have taught scrapping for the past 12 months with children as young as 7 years old upto teenagers. I find the kids love the chance to create photo-album pages with photo's of themselves, family, pets and other special occasions they have been to, and adding their own creative style with embellishing their pages.

Hand Sewing: Is run after each scrapping class each fortnight as well.  

Time:  3pm  -  5pm

I have found that a lot of children don't know how to sew, and have been asked by many customers to run a basic sewing class for kids, which I started this past school term with great rewards and lots of laughs from the kids. Currently students are working on a hexagon flower to stitch onto a calico bag. Their second project is with Christmas in mind. We are making a Merry Christmas Swag again we are using hexagons, but this time learning to blanket stitch the lettering.

Cost: Individual class costs are: $8.00 for scrapping, and $10 for sewing

If the student wishes to do both classes $15.00 per child

Each student is eligible for 10% discount on any product used for classes.
